In a European comparison, German tradesmen most strongly reject the selling of professional brands and products from heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), while their colleagues in Great Britain have the most positive attitude towards this trend. These are the conclusions of a study by the Dutch market research company USP. In Great Britain six per cent of tradesmen think it is "very positive" and six percent "quite positive" that professional brands can be found on the shelves of DIY stores - however not a single one in Germany. And the group with a "neutral" viewpoint is also the smallest with 15 per cent. Conversely, the level of rejection of 56 per cent is the highest in Europe. This level is only similarly high in France, namely 50 per cent.
