The Positec Group is one of the world’s most rapidly growing companies in the field of power tools
Rockwell is Positec's brand for the middling DIY pricing segment.
The company’s strength stems from its philosophy: Everything from the one source. In pursuit of this policy the company is developing a programme of machine tools under the overall control of its own design and development centre in Vicenza, Italy. Production is carried out in the group’s own facilities in China. The Positec Group manufactures products for its global customers in the OEM and private label categories.
Against the current trend Positec Germany GmbH is exhibiting its own Worx and Rockwell brands at the coming International Hardware Fair/Practical World. “Worx with its orange livery offers an innovative programme of power tools for those demanding high-quality products for semi-professional uses,” explained Ronald Wischmann, managing director of Positec Germany. Worx Light Trade, which is bright green in colour, is the brand for specialists in the commercial field. And, finally, Rockwell is the company’s brand positioned in the middle DIY pricing segment.
Orange-liveried Worx was designed for semi-professional applications.
At this year’s Practical World Positec is showing its novel “Revolver” under the Worx brand name. This presents four power tools, innovative in both design and construction, which feature a totally new type of ergonomic profile. “Revolver” is designed to reduce physical strain during use to a considerable degree.
The “Revolver” is a new launch that is said to considerably reduce physical strain.
“Multi-channelling is the marketing concept of the future for the customer of tomorrow and the day after tomorrow,” declares Ronald Wischmann with complete conviction. Consequently Positec offers several different ways of procuring and selecting products in order to be able to reach every customer in the best possible way. Power tools are available in the entry point pricing segment, the up-market entry point, the medium pricing segment and the top level.
