Construmart becomes a Ghin member

The Chilean chain Construmart has joined the Global Home Improvement Network (Ghin). It has 29 stores employing a total of 1 800 staff across Chile and operates in both the retail and trade arms of the business.
The company was formed in 1997 from the merger of three local hardware retailers, Chicharro, Comercial Corbella and Comercial Eguiguren. Since November 2017 it has been owned by a group of investors headed by Julio Campos and Larraín Vial.
