Declan Ronayne hands over leadership of Woodie's to Damien Dwyer

Declan Ronayne, CEO of the Irish DIY chain Woodie's, is retiring at the end of the year. His successor is Damien Dwyer, commercial director of the company since 2013. He took on the new role in August. Declan Ronayne was at the helm of Woodie's for 13 years. The chain belongs to the Irish Grafton Group, which is primarily active in the building materials trade. Apart from Ireland, the Grafton Group is active in Great Britain, the Netherlands and Finland.
