Delegates give the summit a massive thumbs-up

The 5th Global DIY Summit in Berlin was rated by delegates more highly than any of the previous events. At the end of the 5th Global DIY Summit, 81.4 per cent of the delegates, using a voting tool, gave this event a 'very good' to 'excellent' rating, with a further 15.2 per cent rating the event as 'good'. A record of 1 000 delegates from 55 countries attended the congress, which included over 320 of the top retailers from around the world.
The audience was predominantly composed of men at 77 per cent of the total number of delegates. This year over 30 per cent of the audience as a whole were retailers, a huge increase compared with the congress held in Stockholm last year. Suppliers still account for the largest share among the different type of attendees: approximately 57 per cent of the delegates were manufacturers.
