Last Friday, 5 March 2004, the French retail group Lafayette inaugurated a store in Paris that is entirely devoted to the subject of interior decoration. Lafayette Maison, which is the name of the location in Boulevard Haussmann, consists of a five-storey building including a basement floor, which results in a retail area of 10 000 m². Each floor presents products for different living areas such as kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms and bedrooms. Lafayette is already active in the DIY market with the BHV brand name.
