Bondex combines an electric spray gun with ready-to-use coating products.
Store presentation
For presentation in the store, the canister and spray gun are arranged on a display, with everything ready to hand in a small area. The display comes with optional DVD presentation explaining the application to DIY store customers and highlighting the advantages of surface treatment using a spraying process. The company also offers a brochure for consumers that provides information on the products, application and individual operating steps and offers tips on how to achieve a professional finish.
Surfaces without brush marks
Dyrup recommends coating large or difficult to access areas in particular with the spray gun, which it claims is three times faster than using a brush. The company promises a finish that is even and devoid of brush marks, drips or paint runs. The wood stain, which is only available in Germany at present, is intended to offer up to seven years’ protection, whereas the glaze brings out the timber grain while rendering the surface weather-resistant at the same time. In a consumer test carried out by market research company Tarnberg in August 2004, DIY enthusiasts confirmed the quick, easy application of the new Bondex spray gun complete with coating products, according to the supplier.
