The product ranges are arranged in four big fair sections called “Villages”. The garden section or “Village Jardin” is located in Hall 3. This is where the exhibitors will present their garden furniture, leisure articles for outdoor use, decorative elements and containers and troughs. Also available here are landscaping and privacy screening products as well as POS and greenhouses. The garden offer is linked directly to the plant segment, the “Village Végétal” in Hall 2. This will be divided up into five sub-sections: plants; fertilisers, pesticides, soil improvers and crop substrates; plant requisites and lawns; flowers and décor lines.
A new addition is the special “Industrial protection” area in Hall 1, which is concerned with security management. Not only are the performance and use of technical equipment gaining increasingly in significance as competitive criteria, but the spotlight is being trained on the risks they present for the user as well.
Jardin & Paysage will open for the first time on the Paris-Expo exhi-bition site at Porte de Versailles.
Ideas for retailers are also part of the offer. These include a number of possible ways to create an attractive sales area through the changing seasons, presented by the Nelly Rodi agency. The spotlight here is on four small special areas in Hall 3, showing how the decoration and interior design of the business should tempt customers to make a purchase. The innovations competition is reserved for fair exhibitors alone. There are awards for three different categories: garden, landscape and plants. All the participating products will then be displayed on a special area.
