France’s DIY stores start the year with plus 20 per cent

The French DIY industry has started the year 2021 with ongoing high growth rates. In January, sales in the DIY stores in France lay at 19.51 per cent above the respective previous year's level. This has been announced by the DIY trade association FMB with reference to the Banque de France. "This renewed growth more than ever confirms the growing success of DIY in the everyday lives of the French people," association president Mathieu Pivain comments on the January figures.
