In e-commerce in Germany, the market volume for products in the DIY and flower segment in 2021 was around EUR 3.339 bn. Compared to EUR 2,591 mio in the previous year, this represents an increase of 30.9 per cent. The growth of this product segment therefore lies significantly above average. In the year 2021, gross sales of goods in German e-commerce rose by 19.0 per cent to EUR 99.1 bn. These figures have been reported by the e-commerce association BEVH. According to the association, contrary to fears, any effects of supply chain disruptions in e-commerce largely failed to materialise.
