Google is increasing its digital presence in DIY stores. According to a report by the Invidis portal, which specialises in digital signage, Google's smart home distribution line Google Nest has installed a large-format touchpoint solution in a Home Depot outlet in New York's Manhattan area. The Google Nest products are presented on individually designed shelves with 65-inch flat screens (around 165 cm diagonal). Customers can find out more about products such as hubs, cameras, sensors and microphones using floating touch displays in front of the shelves.
