Heinz Wieczorek new CEO of Edin

Heinz Wieczorek becomes new CEO of Edin. He had already been designated to assume the leadership of the European building materials network for the interim period after its co-founder and CEO Lucien Hardt had been taken ill in the spring of this year. Lucien Hardt passed away in July.
Most recently, Wieczorek was Director Business Unit DIY at the French Saint-Gobain group. Before that, he had been active at several companies in the building materials industry, such as MC Bauchemie, Xella and Lafarge.
His taking over of the directorial position at Edin was announced to the members and partners of Edin by Philippe Hardt, son of Lucien Hardt and one of the founders of the company, in a bulletin. In it, he emphasised the importance of collaboration and networking within the entire supply chain.
