Hornbach opens 18th store in the Netherlands

German DIY retail chain Hornbach has opened its 18th store in the Netherlands in Nijmegen. The 20 000 m² store was built in just nine months. The drive in covers more than 4 500 m². According to the company, a great deal of importance was attached to resource-saving construction methods when building the new store. This includes a connection to the district heating network and a particularly high insulation value for the façade and roof.
