More visitors at Flowers IPM Moscow
The 21st Flowers IPM Moscow ended with a 14.8 per cent increase in visitors compared to last year. The number of visitors recorded at the specialist trade fair for plants, horticultural techniques, floristry and equipment, held from 27 to 29 August, was 24 984 of which 73 per cent were trade professionals. However the number of exhibitors has further declined with just 302 companies from 23 countries exhibiting their products, which is 16 per cent less than last year. According to the event organiser, the current economic situation did not play a role in the execution of the fair.
The event was jointly organised by Messe Essen, Germany and the Russian company VDNH (Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy). The next Flowers IPM Moscow will take place from 27 to 29 August 2015.

Satisfied, but fewer Tendence visitors
Tendence ended with higher satisfaction rates from both exhibitors and visitors, however the number of visitors and exhibitors has dropped by six per cent. 35 000 visitors from 88 countries attended the four day event in Frankfurt. There were also 1 211 exhibitors from 51 countries who occupied a gross exhibition space of 98 720 (minus 3.6 per cent). The top ten visiting nations were Germany followed by Switzerland, Austria, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, China, Poland, Great Britain and Spain. Every fifth visitor came from abroad. Double-digit increases were also recorded for example from Greece, Great Britain, Poland and Spain. The number of visitors from the major Asian consumer markets - China, India and Japan - has increased compared to 2013.
Four trade fairs in Tokyo
A total of 1 470 companies from 25 countries were exhibiting at the jointly organised trade fairs Tool Japan, Gardex, Ifex und Agriworld in October in Tokyo. Tool Japan was being held for the fourth time. Approximately 210 exhibitors were represented in this sector. Gardex was exhibiting for the eighth time and listed about 250 exhibitors. Ifex had the biggest proportion of exhibitors (530 companies), which was being held for the eleventh time. The remaining 480 companies were exhibiting at Agriworld.
Positioning of Ferroforma
Further events will be staged together with the specialist trade fair Ferroforma in Bilbao, Spain. As well as Subcontratación and Fitmaq, Maintenance and Pumps & Valves will also run parallel to the hardware trade fair Ferroforma. The next date is from 26 to 29 May 2015.
