Increased internationalism

The number of trade visitors who registered at the 20th Salon du Végétale, the French horticultural trade show held at Anger from 16 to 18 February, amounted to 16 938. The number of international visitors saw an increase of eight per cent to 475 coming from 31 countries. A total of 612 exhibitors were represented, 27 per cent of them suppliers from abroad. The number of international exhibitors rose by 30 per cent. First-time visits were made by companies from Africa (Senegal, Uganda and Cameroon), Central America (Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras) and Asia (China).
