Keynote from Bunnings boss Michael Schneider in Amsterdam

Michael Schneider, managing director of the Bunnings Group, will be holding the keynote presentation at the 8th Global DIY Summit taking place in Amsterdam from 10 -12 June 2020. Schneider, who has been with the Australian retailer since 2005, was appointed managing director in May 2017. Bunnings belongs to the Wesfarmers group and had an annual revenue of AUD 13.162 bn (EUR 8.078 bn) in its financial year 2018/2019.
Operating throughout Australia and New Zealand with 377 stores, Bunnings boasts a higher than average turnover per square metre of over EUR 2 500. The stores range from warehouse stores, smaller format stores to trade centres.
In an interview with the trade journal DIY International, Michael Schneider spoke about the current developments at the Australian home improvement retail market leader. The issue will be out mid February.
