Kingfisher announces joint venture with Mr Bricolage Group

Kingfisher has announced that its own distribution divisions in France and the Mr Bricolage Group are working on the creation of a joint venture in the procurement sector. The announcement was made recently in the context of presentation of the 2022 annual results. The joint venture, which Kingfisher said could be established by the second half of this year ahead of business negotiations for the 24/25 financial year, would aim to strengthen relationships with common domestic and international suppliers and provide added value and new business opportunities to these suppliers. The Bricolage Group operates more than 970 shops through franchisees and subsidiaries, mainly in France and Belgium, and is the fourth-largest player in the French construction market.
