Established in Taichung in 1999, Win Features now employs a workforce of 550 at its plants in Taiwan and China. The company's product range includes a remarkably wide range of bit holders and bits, adjustable wrenches, screwdrivers, Allen keys and adapters of various quality levels for both DIY enthusiasts and tradespeople. Accounting for around 80 per cent of the company's exports, deliveries to the USA, especially in the capacity of OEM products, are now very important. For general manager Alex Chang, however, expanding into new markets in Asia and above all Europe is high on the list of priorities. Appearances at the Asia Pacific Sourcing fair and the International Hardware Fair in Cologne are scheduled for 2015 and 2016 for this reason.

The company has no worries regarding its competitiveness in this regard. Production is carried out wholly in Win Features' own plants, primarily in the plant in China, but also at its Taiwan factory. There are plans to relocate portions of the production back to Taiwan for reasons of cost and quality, however. Win Features considers its greatest potential to lie in the quality of its own products, quality that satisfies the highest demands, international standards and individual customer requirements.
The company's in-house R&D and design teams work at the company's headquarters in Taichung and focus in particular on developing new products, improving existing products or optimising the production processes. Win Features regards its innovative capacity as one of the key factors in achieving success and being able to survive in a fiercely competitive market
