Mr. Bricolage has put three pilot stores into operation for an overhauled concept. Thus, the French DIY store group, which is struggling with sales declines, has implemented an important undertaking from its strategic Rebond plan which was started in 2016. As early as in April, a store with 836 m² for the City-Format, which is designed for inner-city locations, was opened in Orléans. In June the Format L followed with 7 055 m² in Parthenay and the Format M with 4 550 m² in Avranches. The new concept is intended to especially strengthen customer contact according to the principles of simplicity, proximity and service and to optimise processes under the aspects of sales, logistics and systems.
