Visitor registration has been growing steadily and is set to welcome buyers from India, Iran, Malaysia, Singapore, the United States and many other countries with strong hardware purchasing power. Around 400 exhibiting companies are expected and will be accommodated in two halls with a combined space of 17 571 m².
Mr Gerd Keim, President of the organisers Kaigo, emphasized that, "with more products, more innovations and more market insights available, visitors can procure or identify products for more expedient distribution, with informed decisions on product specifications, manufacturing processes and application quality. These critical sourcing concerns are only made available by trusted companies exhibiting at THS 2016."
For the first time the organizer has introduced a 'Corporate Buyer Program'. International visitors from both emerging and developed markets with high annual procurement on hardware sales are eligible for this subsidy program. The conditions are that companies from emerging countries must have had a minimum annual sales revenue of USD 0.1 mio within the last three years, and for companies from developed countries; their companies are required to have minimum annual sales revenue of USD 0.3 mio.
Complimentary business matching services are also open to all buyers to support their search for products and most suitable manufacturers. Those seeking latest market insights can take part in industry forums. Alisdair Gray, Director of the European DIY Retail Association Edra will present "The Global Home Improvement Industry in 2016" forum that discusses how the home improvement sector has evolved over the last years.
