New director of category management/purchasing at Hagebau

The German cooperative Hagebau has a new director of category management/purchasing. Frank Frithjof Staffeld will assume responsibility for the department on 1 November 2022. The 50-year-old has more than 20 years of management experience in purchasing, including career stages at Obi (corporate category manager 2007 to 2008), Walmart, Toys R Us and more than ten years as director of non-food/category management at the German food retail market leader Edeka. Frank Staffeld is currently managing partner of the purchasing start-up Procurely. He succeeds Torsten Kreft, who has taken on responsibility for other tasks within Hagebau, including management of the Austrian market.
