Elho is a specialist in the field of synthetic flower pots. The company will be displaying a great variety of interesting new products at this year’s garden trade fairs
Exports go to more than 50 countries, and the company claims market leadership in the Netherlands and Belgium. The most important export countries are Germany and Scandinavia, together with France and the United Kingdom, where the company has its own sales offices. Numbering among its customers are garden centres and DIY stores along with mail-order businesses, growers, supermarkets, hardware shops and wholesalers as well.
The company keeps all the main elements such as product development, production and logistics, sales and marketing in its own hands. Retail partners are promised increased sales per square metre which, it is claimed, is made possible by the company’s high degree of specialisation and reliability, in combination with marketing support services.
This year’s garden season has been a very successful one for Elho. The company introduced new products and saw sustained growth in the number of sales outlets. Meanwhile preparations are being made for the coming garden season: the company intends to introduce 16 new products to mark its 40th anniversary, due to be celebrated next year.
One of these innovations is the Floor Protector, which protects flooring against moisture, stains and scratches. It is made of a transparent synthetic, making it invisible when in position, and is available in six different sizes ranging from 15 cm to 40 cm in diameter. Elho delivers the product in a permanent metal display with headboard. This and other new products will be on show at Gafa in Cologne and Glee in Birmingham.
