Statistics Home Improvement Europe provides detailed answers to these questions. German publishing house Dähne Verlag, which specialises in the home improvement and garden market, has been publishing this standard reference work for over twenty years. It appears once a year and is produced by the editorial team of the trade magazine DIY International. The latest edition, documenting the developments in the European DIY and garden market during 2019, will be available in the first week of August. Together with the print copy comprising over 100 pages, readers can also access the entire contents in digital form by downloading all statistics in PDF and Excel format.
The publication focuses on data relating to 31 European countries, including the number of DIY stores and the retail areas of home improvement retailers in the individual countries. Statistics Home Improvement Europe also features additional chapters. Of particular interest are the rankings of the 20 biggest DIY store chains in Europe and worldwide.

The other supplementary chapters introduced in the last few years also form part of the current edition. In addition, the rankings of the Top 20 globally by sales, number of stores and retail area provide an overview of the operations of the retailers outside their home market.
