Policolor, manufacturer of paints and vanishes, opens new plant

Policolor, the paint and varnish manufacturer, opened a new factory in Bucharest at the start of July 2019. The company reports that EUR 7 mio were invested in its construction. The new plant, in which paints, plasters, enamelling, varnishes and related products are manufactured for the Rumanian and south-east European market, is part of a complex with a space covering 2.5 hectares.
In 2018 the Policolor group made consolidated operative sales of EUR 64.2 mio. Sales of EUR 69.8 mio are expected for 2019, an increase of 8.7 per cent compared to the previous year. The Policolor-Orgachim group operates two major production units: Policolor Romania and Orgachim Bulgaria and is one of the regional market leaders in the area of paint and varnish technology in the south-east region.
