A PLMA symposium perceives further opportunities for growth in the DIY sector, since big DIY chains have declared their readiness to invest in their own house brands

The International Council of the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PMLA) forecasts good growth prospects for private labels in the DIY sector. These optimistic expectations are based on the fact that certain big DIY retailers have declared themselves ready to invest more in the development of their own house brands. A recently-published PLMA symposium reaches the conclusion that the general improvement in quality and the further development of marketing methods will also serve to stimulate the future growth of DIY private labels.
