Two flying-insect catchers

Swissinno launches two flying-insect catcher-killers that destroy flies, mosquitoes and midges efficiently without using chemicals, poisons or sprays. The unique Insect Catcher has a powerful 22W UV lamp that attracts insects into a fan, which sucks them into a chamber where they dehydrate and die. The Rechargeable Insect Destroyer’s potent 9W UV lamp attracts insects onto a high-voltage metal grid where they are electrocuted and die. It is completely portable for use anywhere indoors and out. www.swissinno.com

Flexible solutions

The Cubic line of flower boxes is now available in the colours cream and teak and in a new height with five boards. If necessary, the mini garden can now increase its height with flexible raised bed solutions. The modules, which come in various shapes and sizes, consist of galvanised steel corners with side sections made from pressure-impregnated pine wood, Class A, NTR-designated. The modules have wheels and can be combined in a variety of ways. There are nine other new Cubic models that can be used as a flexible stand, open/semi-open patio shelving or room divider (with trellis) and for many other purposes. www.plus.dk

Details ensure all-round success

Permaplay POS screens feature a host of superb, tried and tested details developed by the company. They come in all sizes from 4’’ to 42’’ (10 cm to 107 cm screen size) and are equipped with the requisite POS functions. Adjustments can be made directly using the concealed, easily accessible buttons on the unit, without the need of a remote control. “That’s because the remote control is always where it shouldn’t be in the stores, and you can never find it when it is needed,” says managing director Werner Vogt. www.permaplay.de

100 per cent catch rates

Swissinno combines years of research on mole behaviour with Swiss ingenuity, innovation and technology to produce the ultimate Mole Trap. Its clever design prevents moles from detecting its presence in a tunnel, enabling it to achieve up to 100 per cent catch rates and outperform all other traps, according to the company. It is safe and simple to operate and no strength is required to set it. Uniquely, it gives a clear above-ground visual signal when a catch is made. It’s so easy to use that even amateurs can be successful trappers. www.swissinno.com
