Resinence, a brand whose roots lie in France with the parent company Décors de Ferryville around 100 kilometres to the south of Paris, has also been present in Germany since 2017 through the foundation of Resinence GmbH with its headquarters in Eschborn near Frankfurt.
"Color", the first range under the Resinence brand - a bi-component paint on a synthetic resin basis - was listed in the year 2008 at the French DIY chain Castorama. It was an immediate success for the company. The listing at Leroy Merlin followed one year later with the same sales success. Thus, Resinence became the market leader in the field of renovation paints in France.
In 2011 the range was expanded with a further innovative product: "Mineral Concrete". As the company says itself, it has had great success with this product too - an easy to use mineral plaster. The product range has been added to with further products in the field of renovation paints, for example the "Creasine" range, a one-component paint, as well as the expansion of the "Color" range to include outside areas with the product "Outdoor Color" and not least an improved version of "Mineral Concrete" which is now also suitable for the outdoor area. The "Mineral Concrete Blackboard and Magnet" is also interesting in setting additional accents in wall design.
Every year Resinence brings innovative products to the market, which offer new options when it comes to simple renovation and design. Several years ago the company was already selected in France by the television station M6 as main partner for renovation paint for the "D&Co" and "Maison à vendre" programmes.
In the year 2011 the development of the company on an international level began with the expansion into Belgium. Then Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and Italy followed as additional European countries. Products by the supplier are also marketed through partnerships in the USA, Lebanon and even in South Korea.
In Germany, the products have been available since 2011 at Obi, after that at Bauhaus and in the meantime also at Hagebau. In order to provide better support for the German market, Resinence GmbH with its headquarters in Eschborn near Frankfurt was founded in 2017. From here, the markets in Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg are supported as well as developments in Northern and Eastern Europe. The products have also recently been available in the Czech Republic. The goal is to gradually make the Resinence range…
