Sears Home Improvement business up for sale

Sears is selling its Sears Home Improvement business. It has received an offer from Service.com, a company that connects homeowners with service professionals for home improvement projects. Service.com is prepared to pay approximately USD 60 mio.
Sears Home Improvement business, which is based in Longwood, Florida, is a unit of the Sears Home Service division. Other parties interested in acquiring the business can submit bids up to 15 November. A sale is expected to go through at the beginning of January 2019.
