Sodimac wants to expand, particularly in Brazil

The Chilean chain of DIY stores, Sodimac, wants to continue to expand, particularly in Brazil. The company already announced its planned expansion to Mexico in April.
Sodimac's current figures were recently presented by CEO Enrique Gundermann as part of an investor day in the Peruvian capital Lima. The company, which belongs to the retail group Falabella, currently operates a total of 243 locations in Chile, Argentina, Peru, Columbia, Uruguay and Brazil. Its total retail space is 1.378 million m² with its annual sales recently amounting to USD 5.622 bn after conversion.
