Spanish associations appeal to regional governments

The Spanish manufacturer and trade associations in the DIY sector, AFEB and ADFB, have appealed to 16 of the 17 autonomous provinces in the country, to declare the hardware and DIY trade to be essential. The region of Asturias has already done so, Aragón and Andalusia will do too, but have issued many restrictions.
A recovery has begun on the part of the manufacturers, AFEB has detected: in October, 58 per cent of the member companies exceeded sales made in the same period last year. 89 per cent expect a rise in sales for the forthcoming year.
