Spanish manufacturers expecting higher sales in 2021

Spanish manufacturers in the hardware and home improvement sector are looking to 2021 with optimism, according to the findings of a survey by their industry association, the AFEB. 95.4 per cent of manufacturing companies expect sales to be up on the previous year, although 93 per cent also expect to face higher costs.
Around 80 per cent of manufacturers are assuming sales increases in the first quarter. In 2020, 43.2 per cent of manufacturers reported the same or higher sales, with growth rates of up to 15 per cent.
