Spoga+Gafa with 20 per cent more visitors

After three days of the fair, Spoga+Gafa 2023 has closed its doors again and is taking the positives from the experience. Around 30 000 trade visitors from 122 countries took part in this year's international garden lifestyle fair, as announced by the organisers - a visitor increase of around 20 per cent compared with the previous year. In total, more than 1 800 exhibitors from 58 countries presented the trends and highlights of the coming garden and BBQ season in Cologne. With these figures, the fair is also approaching the record year of 2019.

"We are very pleased to be able to build on the outstanding results of 2019 once again with Spoga+Gafa 2023. The exhibitors and the international trade visitors were extremely satisfied above all with the quality of the discussions and the products. The great atmosphere in the exhibition halls underlined this impressively. With a strong increase in visitors from Germany and, at the same time, around 70 per cent of trade visitors from abroad, Spoga+Gafa once again confirmed its relevance as the most important international trade and networking platform for the sector,” said Oliver Frese, executive vice-president of Koelnmesse. The next Spoga+Gafa will take place in Cologne from 16 to 18 June 2024.
