A store tour will be offered once again as part of the accompanying programme at the International Hardware Fair 2016. The viewing tour of three DIY stores in the Cologne region takes place on Tuesday 8 March 2016, the third day of the fair. It will be organised once again by Dähne Verlag and its trade magazine DIY International in cooperation with Koelnmesse.
The three stores to be visited are a store belonging to German market leader Obi, a Toom-Baumarkt store, which is part of the DIY distribution channel of the Rewe Gruppe, and a store belonging to Knauber, which is active in the region. This stop includes a special feature of the German DIY scene, because this is where the Innovation Store has been established, in which the retailer tests innovative sales concepts and products together with 15 manufacturers.
The tour commences at 10 am. It will be conducted in German and English, and information on the German DIY trade will be available in English also. Members of the store management teams and representatives from the head offices will be on hand to chat to visitors.
Details of the programme are available at www.diyinternational.com/storetour. You can register for the tour at www.daehne.com/storetour
