In honour of its 45th birthday, the Italian hose specialist Fitt presents itself with a new logo and a new company profile, which emphasises its technical know-how in the various business areas

With a large party including a birthday cake, the Italian hose specialist Fitt celebrated its 45th anniversary at the Spoga+Gafa in Cologne. The family business, with headquarters in the north of the country near Venice, used this occasion to inform its clients of a few changes.
The new corporate image, with the new logo and company profile was presented at the exhibition party. “ We felt this was the right time to renew our brand and make it more modern, capable of reflecting the changes experienced in the recent years to keep pace with the evolution of the market” explains CEO Alessandro Mezzalira, son of the founder Rinaldo Mezzalira, about the changes.
Most of all, the new company slogan emphasises what has been done in the four and a half decades: “Technology flow” replaces the previously used “ Tested Quality” shifting the focus on the technological know-how that the company puts into its products, dedicated to the passage of liquids and fluids – and that in environmentally sustainable conditions and with a progressive design.
To define this core competence to the outside world, Fitt has simultaneously presented a new company profile. “We felt the need to inject more life into the company profile for more tangible and incisive communication to clients and stakeholders in view of the changes to the group companies over recent years”, says Monica Rigoni, marketing director of Fitt. “Rapid developments on the reference markets and the commitment to providing our clients with increasingly innovative products have driven the Group in the face of continuous challenges, refining the expertise gained in the 45 years of Fitt and the 15 years of Faraplan.”
The last decade of both Fitt and the professional brand Faraplan in particular, has seen significant developments: in Fitt, alongside the driving business of irrigation hoses, the company’s department of technical and industrial hoses bearing the Hi-Fitt mark, has gone from strength to strength.
A wide range of plastics are processed, (PVC, PU, SEBS, TPE-S, Polyethylene, HDPE, LDPE, POM, PP, EBA and EVA) using all the main processing techniques such as extrusion, coupling, moulding and blow moulding.
