Twice tops in New York

At the world’s biggest competition for annual company reports, the ARC International held in the USA, Baumax won the Gold Award in the category of cover design/photo (retail/speciality stores classification) for the design of the group’s annual report 2001, and the Grand Award in the category of cover design various & original. Martin Essl, chairman of Baumax AG, accepted the awards against the background of the gala presentation ceremony at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in New York. Baumax is the first European company to win an ARC award. A total of 1 600 entries from 20 different countries were submitted and judged by an international jury. The Baumax annual report 2001 invites the reader – true to the Baumax motto of “do-it-yourself” – to illustrate the company’s performance for himself. Coloured pencils are included.
