Well-attended buying market

Ace Hardware’s spring buying market in Dallas attracted 200 representatives of over 60 retail firms from right across the world, who were there to review and buy the merchandise on display. Among the suppliers were 24 members of the Worldwide DIY Council, an association of 150 American and Canadian exporting manufacturers. Ace is now the world’s largest hardware wholesaler, supplying dealers in 70 countries with American-made merchandise. Ace also recently signed an agreement to work with Euro-Mat, a Luxembourg buying cooperative.
