Wickes has reported a slight year-on-year decline in its like-for-like sales of 0.6 per cent in the first 20 weeks of the 2022 financial year. According to the company, which is active in the United Kingdom, core LFL sales are 7.2 per cent down, with delivered DIFM sales up by 30.9 per cent. On a three-year basis, which compares with the pre-Covid period, total group sales are 22.4 per cent ahead.
Wickes operates from its network of 231 right-sized stores, which support nationwide fulfilment from convenient locations throughout the United Kingdom, and through its digital channels including its website, TradePro mobile app for trade members, and Wickes DIY app.
