The consumer goods fairs Ambiente, Christmasworld and Creativeworld will in future be held on the same date. Under the motto “Home of Consumer Goods”, this new combined fair is to be held for the first time in Frankfurt from 3/4 to 7 February 2023. Messe Frankfurt (Germany) made the announcement in an online press conference.
“We need new formats and functioning networks,” says Detlef Braun, Member of the Board of Management of Messe Frankfurt. Together with Philipp Ferger, Vice President Consumer Goods Fairs, he presented the strategic plans of the trade fair company for 2023. The new trade fair association is intended to create synergies and bring additional opportunities to acquire new customers. “Trends will be presented here and thus the global metatrends can be experienced”, says Ferger.
Messe Frankfurt is also changing the Paperworld product range in the process. A new product area, “Ambiente Working”, is to create new impulses for the paper, office supplies and stationery sector. In addition, “Ambiente Giving” will be supplemented by the themes of stationery and school supplies. The business product groups at Paperworld are to be found in the Christmasworld and Creativeworld sections. As Ferger emphasised, this is not the end of Paperworld, the intention is to offer the fair “a new home”.
The sourcing section of the three events is also to be merged into a joint offer and marketed internationally. This step will be complemented by a new, regionally related design and lifestyle offer in Frankfurt in the second half of the year.
According to those responsible, it is not yet possible to make any statements about hall planning or the expected number of visitors and exhibitors. However, the initial feedback so far has been consistently positive.
