Building materials trade grows by nearly five per cent in Denmark

Sales by Danish builders' merchants in the last year totalled EUR 3.5 billion. Compared with the previous year, this represents an increase of 4.9 per cent, according to figures from the industry association Danske Byggecentre. The growth rate has thus tailed off somewhat, as the sector grew by 6.1 per cent in 2017. A portion of the turnover in the sector is also attributed to the home improvement market.
