In the third quarter of the current year, the Swedish DIY group Byggmax turned over SEK 2.273 bn (EUR 207 mio), 5.3 per cent less than in the same period last year. Like-for-like sales fell by 11.4 per cent, however. Sales remain at a historically high level if not compared with the exceptional year 2021, according to the quarterly report. In the company's home market of Sweden, sales fell by 7.4 per cent to SEK 1.638 bn (EUR 149 mio), while in Norway, Finland and Denmark they rose by 1.2 per cent to SEK 664 mio (EUR 61 mio). The company states that the online share of sales in the past twelve months was 21 per cent.
