Cencosud makes almost 50 per cent more than 2019

The Chilean trading group Cencosud made sales to the amount of CLP 389.277 bn with its home improvement division in the third quarter. Compared to the same period in 2020, that is a plus of 14.7 per cent, 47.9 per cent compared to 2019. In local currency, growth compared to 2020 amounts to 29.3 per cent, and 91.0 per cent to 2019. In Argentina, sales in local currency rose by 52.4 per cent, in Colombia by 1.1 per cent. Same store sales have also developed positively throughout: plus 22.3 per cent in Chile, 56.7 per cent in Argentina and 3.6 per cent in Colombia.
The online share of the overall home improvement division is reported by Cencosud at 8.1 per cent. Two years ago it was still 3.2 per cent.
