DIY stores and garden centres remain open in Switzerland

DIY stores and garden centres in Switzerland remain open despite the tightening of the national lockdown in the country. From today, Monday 18 January, shops selling non-essential goods must close until the end of February. Home improvement retailers along with garden centres and flower shops are not covered by the ban on opening, although they may only sell products classed as essential daily requisites.
