Ikea has opened its first Italian premises with the new concept for house-plants

Italy’s first Ikea furniture store in Italy has opened at Collegno, near Turin, complete with a glasshouse. Seasonal products, house-plants, flowers, planters, rattan articles and garden furniture will be displayed in this part of the building. The glass structure, which was planned and erected by Thermoflor, a Dutch company specialising in greenhouses, offers a sales area of around 2 000 m². Ikea has already implemented this glasshouse concept at locations in Germany and Russia, and has plans for another Italian test store in Trieste.
