Kärcher, the German manufacturer of cleaning equipment, is continuing the policy of consolidating its position in the USA through the acquisition of Castle Rock Industries Inc. of Englewood, Colorado, from Heritage Partners, an investment trust. According to information from the company, Castle Rock is the American market leader in commercial carpet cleaning equipment and will continue to operate as an independent firm. Kärcher had already acquired C-Tech, the US manufacturer of pressure cleaners, in 2004.
