Hornbach now has five stores in Slovakia

The German DIY store operator Hornbach has opened its fifth store in the eastern neighbouring country of Slovakia. The location is in the city of Nitra in the west of the country and has a sales area of around 16 000 m². This also includes a drive-in covering around 5 000 m². Hornbach's DIY and garden product range in Slovakia currently comprises roughly 120 000 articles. The company has invested approximately 21 million euros in the site, construction and fitting-out of the store. In Slovakia, Hornbach already operates two stores in the capital Bratislava and two in eastern Slovakia in the cities of Košice and Prešov.
