After entering the Norwegian market a year ago, the Danish home improvement chain Jem & Fix now has five outlets in the neighbouring country to the north. At the end of May the company opened its latest store in Slitu, close to the Norwegian capital Oslo, which has indoor and outdoor retail areas of 1 200 m² respectively. Asked by the Danish trade magazine Puff about its previously stated expansion target of 50 stores in Norway within five years, country boss Kennet Foersom Iversen said that the company was still in the test phase of its Norwegian expansion and wanted to have full control over operations, logistics and assortment.
