Mack is new consumer director

As of 1 August 2021, the supervisory board of Tesa SE has appointed Dr Andreas Mack as consumer director. The division is being reorganised and Mack assumes responsibility for product development and marketing as well as direct responsibility for distribution and marketing in the European regions.
According to a company press release, the aim is to enhance the potential of the Tesa brand for consumers in the future. This includes in particular utilising all digital channels and options to expand the business. Mack was most recently president of global marketing at Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions (FHCS). Prior to that, he spent three years as global brand director for Swedish hygiene product manufacturer Essity (formerly SCA) and 17 years working for Procter & Gamble in a variety of consumer functions. Heading in the opposite direction is Oliver Höfs, trade director of Tesa SE, who is leaving the company on 30 September 2021.
