The one-off autumn edition of the Light + Building trade fair took place last week. The organisers see the restart after two and a half years of pandemic as "more than successful" and emphasise that personal encounters remain the central element of trade fairs. 92 838 visitors from 147 countries came to Frankfurt am Main (Germany) to find out about lighting and building technology. The international share was 55 per cent.
One focus of the event was on energy-saving possibilities through electrification and digitalisation. Solutions were presented by 1 531 exhibitors from 46 countries. On the Light + Building Digital Extension online platform, exhibitors and visitors were able to get in touch with each other and expand their network on the basis of intelligent matchmaking. Lectures, discussions and presentations are also available on the platform.
The next Light + Building will take place from 3 to 8 March 2024.
