Merger in Denmark

The Danish cooperative Ditas, whose members operate the DIY stores of the Byggekram and Råd & Dåd lines, is currently engaged in negotiations with another cooperative, Dendek. A merger between the two groups is the subject of these discussions. The members of both cooperatives have already given their consent to the proposal. If and when the companies join forces they will represent approximately 40 per cent of the Danish DIY market.
