Consequences of coronavirus in March

Online retailing plummets, but not for DIY and flowers

In Germany, the coronavirus pandemic has led to a massive fall in online sales, but not in the DIY and flowers sectors. These product categories grew by 3.8 per cent in the first quarter compared with this time last year. In the month of March alone, sales increased by 8 per cent compared with March 2019.
